2026/04/13 - Call Flow Loop Protection

We were recently made aware of some customer call flows containing ring group loops, whereby Ring Group 1 fails into Ring Group 2 then Ring Group 2 fails back into Ring Group 1. This type of call flow had the potential to cause resource spikes on particular servers on the platform in turn disrupting certain services/functionality for other organisations.

This change detects and prevents loops by disconnecting the call when the same ring group has been found to have already been routed through on any individual call.


2026/02/17 - Yealink T73U, T73W, T74U, T74W, T77U, T85W, T87W Templates

Auto provisioning templates and support added for use of these devices with the Byphone platform.


2026/02/11 - Byphone - Time Conditions: Timezone

A Timezone field has been added and is controllable via Reseller Portal for those who have access, or Byphone Support staff can help otherwise.

This will specify the timezone used when a time condition determines a match on inbound calls or not.

The setting is on a per organisation basis for now and those organisations who do not change this will continue as they have been until now using UK time.


2026/02/04 - Byphone - Registration Alerts

Currently only controllable by Byphone Support staff.

Edit: As of 2026/02/11 this can be controlled via Reseller Portal as well as Byphone Support staff.

A function to trigger an email when an identity loses connection unexpectedly.
The email can be configured to multiple addresses and applied for all identities on a organisation, or specific identities.
Emails can also be triggered when the identity re-registers, and/or times out after a given time limit.
