Add Device Templates

This feature enables a system administrator to have ready-made settings for all of the devices provisioned on their Byphone system. This, in turn, may greatly speed up the deployment of a new phone system.

To add a Device Template follow the below steps:

While logged in to your Byphone system, click on the Menu icon, in the top right-hand corner of the page.
In the dropdown, choose the Device Templates option.
In the Templates page, click on the Add Template option.
You are now presented with a pop-up window requiring a Template Label and device setting. Fill in the device label, ensuring it is unique.
Choose the make/model of device that this template will apply to in the dropdown, then configure any other settings below where desired/relevant. (Function Keys etc.)
Click the Save button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Your template has now been created and is usable when provisioning a device.
You can add any number of Device Templates in the same way, even for different models of handsets.
