Draytek Issues

Draytek Firmware Upgrade

Log on to your draytek’s LAN IP Address via you browser address bar (Generally this is 192.168.1.1)*

Windows

Press the windows key, and type cmd
type ipconfig in the command prompt screen

It should look similar to the below screen

Look for your default gateway, and enter this into your browser address bar

 

MacOS

Press the Command key and spacebar
In spotlight type “Terminal” and run the selected program
Type “netstat -nr | grep default” into the terminal

 

Once you have entered the IP Address you should see the below screen

Enter admin as the username and your password
Talk to your IT team if you don’t know your password

Once logged in you should see a screen like below

On the left hand side click on System Maintenance

Then select Firmware Upgrade

Click Choose file, and select the .all file from your Draytek firmware folder
Firmware can be found here

Click upgrade
Your router will now reboot

 

Draytek Disable VPN

Log on to your Draytek router

On the left hand side click VPN and Remote Access
Select Remote Access Control
Disable all options and click OK

Disable Internet Access Control

On the Left hand side select System Maintenance
Then click Management

Untick Allow Management from the Internet and click OK
