Inbound Routes

View, add and manage telephone numbers for inbound calls.

Fields

List View

  • Number - The telephone number in full e.164 format

  • Description - Friendly label to identify the number

  • Format - This dictates the way the called DDI is presented to the destination Trunk on an inbound call

  • Status - The current status of the number within the backend systems. Must be “allocated” to be usable. Any other state requires verification before usage

  • Country - The associated country that the phone number belongs to. This should update automatically when entering the phone number based on the country code prefix

  • Organisation - Entity that owns/manages the phone number

  • Destination - This should be the SIP Trunk that inbound calls for the specfic phone number will be routed to

  • Created - Date and time that the phone number was created within the Bytrunk system

Filters

  • Number - Phone number field as above. This filter will find any record containing the search parameter (does not need to be a full/exact match)

  • Description - Friendly label to identify the number. This filter will find any record containing the search parameter (does not need to be a full/exact match)

  • Destination - Dropdown allowing selection of a particular SIP Trunk, in turn showing any phone numbers that route to it

Actions

List View

  • New Inbound Route

    • Create a new Inbound Route. This must be verified before it will function. Request verification here

    • Must match the organisation of the destination Trunk

  • Show

    • View the Inbound route parameters in more detail

  • Delete

    • Only specific role types have the ability to be able to delete an inbound route

Show View

  • Edit

    • Amend an exsting inbound route such as moving between organisations, routing to a different destination trunk or changing the format of the dialled number passed to the destination
